The Narozi (also spelled Norozi) is the dressier cousin of the Peshawari chappal. The topline sits higher and the stitching runs finer along the vamp, so it reads as formal footwear with a shalwar kameez — at a wedding, an Eid lunch or a meeting — while staying as easy to wear as a chappal.
Kaptaan-style kheri follows the same idea: a cleaner upper, a defined toe and a sole built to be worn all day without the slap of a loose chappal. Both are hand-stitched in our Peshawar workshop from the same chrome- and vegetable-tanned hides we use for the classic Peshawari.
If you are choosing between the two, pick Narozi for a softer, rounder shape and Kaptaan for a slimmer profile. Sizes are true to your usual UK size; the leather moulds to the arch within a week of wear.

Narozi and Kaptaan pairs suit mehndi, walima and Eid outfits. A tan or deep-brown pair works with almost any kameez colour.
For wedding halls and carpets, a single sole is enough. For outdoor events and gravel, choose the double sole.
Wipe with a dry cloth after wear, keep them away from direct sun, and use a neutral leather cream every two to three months.
A Narozi (Norozi) chappal is a Peshawari-style leather chappal with a higher, more structured topline and fine stitching along the vamp. It is the formal alternative to the classic open Peshawari chappal.
They are close relatives, not identical. Narozi has a softer, rounder shape; Kaptaan kheri has a slimmer, sharper profile. Both are handmade leather footwear from Peshawar.
Yes — that is exactly what most customers buy them for. Pair them with a shalwar kameez in cream, beige or grey; a tan or brown Narozi complements every one of those.
